Mark walking for a cure - October 2009
During October our Fleet Operations Manager participated in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) walk for a cure in Burswood Park, Perth.
If you were there, you may have seen the jelly bean truck in the carpark or on Mark's shirt!
JDRF Walk for a Cure - Perth
Thousands enjoyed the weather and got involved to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Money raised from the JDRF Walk goes toward funding research for type 1 diabetes cure.
There were quite a few colourful characters there to entertain walkers as they made their journey through the course.
Entertainment along the way!
It was great to see so many joining in the community event.
Mark met a few of these lively characters on his way.
